A BOLLYWOOD MUSICAL - AUDITION NOTICE Project: A Bollywood musical set in London based on hit British comedy play. The play will be in English, the songs will be a mix of English and Hindi songs Timelines: Auditions – August 11, Sunday at 6 PM at the Cockpit Theatre, Gateforth St, NW8 8EH Rehearsals – start Sunday, September 1 Shows – end Jan 2014 – early Feb 2014 Dancer Profiles: - Any ethnicity - Trained dancers – ideally with some knowledge of bollywood dance Actor Profiles: - Any ethnicity - Between the ages of 18 – 60 years - Prior acting experience preferred, no requirement of acting training - Must speak English, no specific accent requirements Time commitment: Upto 3 times a week through Sept - 3rd week Dec Break from 3rd week Dec – 1st week Jan Upto 4 times a week from 2nd week Jan to show dates Audition preparation: Please come prepared with your own piece, and be open to a few impromptu exercises/readings We are auditioning for a range of male/female roles which are quite flexible, and are looking for high energy, enthusiastic, talented and committed individuals Dancers must bring their own music + music player (Iphones/ipads etc will work fine) Inbox for more details.
