A BRIDE GROOM STORY Scenario 1 #ARRANGED_MARRIAGE It would have started on the day of visiting the brides house. He was served with Bajji, sabji and few sweets. He would be the center of attention of the whole room. Bride would be dressed as elegant as possible to impress the maplai. Brides parents wud be mightily relieved hearing the small YES nod from the groom. Once he said yes, He holds the supreme key of the marriage. Each and every move of the marriage would be done to impress or make him happy. That too after engagement, He could ask for anything he wish and it will be fulfilled. The things could be of any sort like electronic gadgets, Automobiles, Gold, Land etc. During marriage the power house got slightly shifted to his mother. Now she pulls the strings and all the people in brides family dance accordingly. But still the groom would always have the say in it after all shes his own mother right. Overall, MAPLAI GETS RAAJA MARIYAADHAI :D :D Scenario 2 #LOVE_MARRIAGE It all would have started when the boy sees the girl for the first time. He would have fallen head over heels on her beauty on the first sight itself or they just met at the first instance and became friends and he fell in love after a while. He would think a lot whether to express his feelings or wait for some more time before opening his heart out. He wud consult his few close friends whom he thought could help him but they wont. After lots of thought process and finding courage, he would say I LO to her. After hearing only half of what he supposed to say, Most girls wouldnt say yes at the same moment. He would think of all the possible ways to impress her. Giving gifts for birthday, womens day, Mothers day, Monday, Tuesday, Friday etc etc. Atlast she accepts his love. In her words, Now you are a shameless fellow, Selected to perform the duties as my slave . Then maintaining love is the most difficult job in the world. If you change yourself accordingly to her, she would say, Now a days u have changed a lot, You are not like before. If you didnt change a bit, She would say, You are not at all listening to my words. Truth is everybody changes with time. But no one s ready to accept it. In the end convincing each other parents is the Himalayan task which one need to pass so many hurdles like caste, religion, Financial status, Job profile.. etc. Brides father would treat you like some thief who came to steal her daughter. Brides mother would think you are some third grade rogue corrected her daughter with some magic. Your own Father would think you have brought shame to the family. Your mother would think her son had fell into the trap set by some witch. Sad truth is your marriage had to happen after convincing each and every soul and infront of every soul. U would become the scapegoat for the ego clashes between the families during marriage. Moral : So girls , when a guy proposes to you, he not only meant he loves you. He meant He s ready to sacrifice all the luxuries he s supposed to enjoy in arranged marriage for one and only you. So dheivangalaa, parthu seiyyunga.. P.S : The real life luxuries a guy can fancy in arranged marriage and the problems he could face in love marriage is very high. Out of which i mentioned a very few i could barely remember.
