A BRIEF NEWSFLASH OF OUR ACTIVITIES SINCE WE LAUNCHED : The Global Leaders Network USA chapter has officially finally come to life. It indeed has been long awaited and is finally here, opening a whole new and exciting part of the Leaders Network. It has also come at a great time as there is plenty to be done to embetter our homelands and the time to act is now. The official opening of the chapter took place on Saturday the 24th of August. This was a formal meeting with the leaders being appointed positions and responsibilities in the organization. The vision and goals of the organization were shared and brought to light. The plans that have been laid ahead and the mandate and responsibilities of the leaders were made clear. This was then followed by an empowerment workshop. It was held on the 30th of August with the theme being ‘I learn I Teach.’ The workshop sort to empower the leaders with skills that will help them impact their spheres of influences and help them impart change in their lives and lives of people around them. These are also things one may overlook and take for granted but it indeed is essential. For a leader, those things should not be neglected. Among the skills learned that day was photo editing, designing, drawing, Microsoft package basics, and basics of the Piano.
