A BRIEF UPDATE: Weve done some fantastic shower dodging today. Ive seen some very heavy showers nearby on the radar but they have generally sailed right past Guernsey without any impact. This has allowed an extra degree or two on our thermometers, especially in sheltered parts of St Peter Port. I hope you have all enjoyed that. We wont get off so lightly tomorrow though. Im afraid it looks as though its going to be a particularly unpleasant morning, with a chance of some flash flooding in prone places. Also, if you are very exposed to northwesterly winds (we havent had many of them this winter) then it would be a good idea to go into your gardens this evening and put things away in sheds etc. Dont forget to check tomorrow morning’s forecast update.
