A BROKEN HEART OF LOVE A broken heart cannot mend As you do feel youre going round the bend. To feel a failure and be told to go - This does hurt - I told you so. Forget me not - as the pain does rot, I now take refuge like a baby in a cot. To ease the pain, that flows through my soul, Tis time to go - for I now hear the call. Follow the staircase for it does light the way - I see angels all around - they also do pray. My heart is numb with the hurt that I dread, Now my spirit - I feel is dead. Come and see thy wondrous maker - Please, be careful - please dont hurt her? To lose a love - as it goes up above, To see god himself - is a new true love. One day, a new day - will rise as new, But this is granted to a chosen few. Hear my prayer - as I do swear, I live for happiness, my soul does care.
