A Bad Omen Indeed . Today I noticed on several occasions when large flocks of birds hurriedly flew over Hoboken , N.J. heading South . Lately my own instincts have been making me a bit worried , and I cautioned several friends of possible severe weather in route . Some laughed , some truly listened . I understand the doubting ones , after all the News Media , refers to last nights snowfall in the Metro area as a storm ? Well my friends , come Monday evening a real storm will be settling down upon us , and a good part of the Eastern Seaboard . It will last for several days with snow totals well over a foot , accompanied with strong relentless winds which will cause considerable damage . The highly unusual hemispheric conditions that will occur have just now been taken notice of and worry some Meteorologist of its possible effects . I remember getting this unsettling feeling , and observing the actions from birds to squirrels , after all they are truly in harmony with nature , not humankind . Weeks before Hurricane Sandy , I even purchased a powerful generator , and attempted to warn my former employer along with staff at our weekly meeting . He brushed me off mockingly telling others perhaps I was a little , shall we say off center Lol . Please be prepared , those with child stock up on milk & baby formula , you get the idea . At times like this let us care for each other especially those who can not adequately care for themselves . Our elderly , homeless etc. , wishing all much safety , and comfort through it all .
