"A Blue Ribbon County Fair!" The 2013 Caroline County Agricultural Fair promises a good time jam packed with fun and entertainment during our four day run July 10-13, 2013! The Fair Association is pleased to welcome two NEW attractions in 2013: Agricadabra “The Magic of Agriculture” Show – where using a little sleight of hand, this entertainer will highlight facts and ideals specific to agriculture in Virginia. The audience has so much fun they don’t realize they are being educated! Also making a debut at the 2013 Fair is “Alota Monkey Business” – a bungee trampoline where participants can flip, somersault and fly high – all while safely buckled in a harness! Returning attractions include Camel Rides, Pony Rides, Racing Pigs, Exotic Animal Petting Zoo, and Mechanical Bull Rides. Caroline’s Barn will be filled with farm animals of all types – from baby chicks to Livestock & Poultry Show winners. On display in Home Goods are homemade, homegrown and home canned items of all kinds, plus artwork, photography and a variety of creative projects – each one sporting an award ribbon. Fairgoers of all ages may compete for A Blue Ribbon in the Corn Shuckin’, Watermelon Eatin’, Hog Callin’, Rooster Crowin’, and Pie Eatin’ Contests.
