A CALL TO MEDITATE: PRESERVED IN CHRIST. Jude 1:1 Jude, the servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James, to them that are sanctified by God the Father, and preserved in Jesus Christ, and called.... Dearly beloved, how marvellous it is to know that we are PRESERVED in Christ from the verse above!!! The Greek word translated preserve here is tereo which means to guard from injury or loss; it has also been translated to keep and to watch in other verses. Oh boy, You are guarded from ALL injury and ALL loss in Christ Jesus; You are kept by the power of God in Christ Jesus; He has given His Angels charge over you to watch you lest you strike your foot against a stone. Praise God!!! You are PRESERVED in Christ Jesus, Declare it daily. Like a pickled onion you will never run out of use; You remain fresh, profitable, useful and indispensable everywhere you go; You cannot get corrupted by the decay of this world, Neither can the rot and decadence of this present age taint you - For you are preserved by no mean preservative than Jesus Christ Himself, His Blood totally encompasses you. Understand this: Christ is your Maintenance Officer!!! You cannot fall sick because you are preserved; No weapon formed against you can prosper - because you are preserved. Your contributions and accomplishments will remain germane for generations yet to come simply because the works of your hands are preserved; No attempt of the enemy to destroy your achievements can succeed For everything about you is preserved in Christ Jesus by His blood... In Jesus Mighty Name, Amen!!!
