While we’re used to top quality performances, hooks, and profound lyrics, this piece like all it’s predecessors, rises above. Growing up with albums like TheBeatles’ White Album and Queen’s A Night At The Opera, you miss taking journeys with the artists you are listening to. The Orion Experience have tried to emulate that in an era where singles are listened on repeat and disposed of by the fourth lap around. Across all thirteen tracks you are engaged in an in-depth space odyssey, all the while unable to ignore the mind-blowing performances by the band’s Orion Simprini, Linda Horwatt and Reef Rox who also contributed to what is clearly their highest quality production effort. In the epic story, you’re immediately sucked in. An evolving narrative, a blend of cross-era melodies ranging from the ‘60s to the ‘80s and beyond. Way beyond, into the era of “supernatural dynamos.” While your ears might not be accustomed to taking in a collaborative epic story of star walkers, you should allow yourself in this case.
