A CDC report addressing antibiotic-resistant pathogens pinned the majority of blame on the human health care system and poor stewardship of antibiotic use in humans. Although agricultural use of antimicrobials faces criticism among some groups, CDC director and physician Tom Frieden said "the most acute problem is in hospitals." Infections with Klebsiella and E. coli were among those of greatest concern, according to the report.
