A CHANCE TO SHARE MORE CHI-TOWN ZANIES WITH YOU... The setting - TopicsExpress

A CHANCE TO SHARE MORE CHI-TOWN ZANIES WITH YOU... The setting is downstairs near the employees entrance. The vendors are waiting to get their assignments for the day. You gaze over and by chance this group which includes at least two of the more eccentric vendors {perhaps 3} is on display! A chance happening...as rare perhaps as the sighting of Haleys comet The old eyes arent sure, but I am thinking that the vendor to the far left is Peter Hooper? aka...LLoyds dad...because ...well he looks like an older version of Mr. Lloyd Rutzky. If so ...he would be one of the 3 eccentrics ....but next up Joe Roth! I feel sorry for Joe. He has a very abrasive way about him, always fighting with other vendors! I think that he just doesnt know how to socialize and will do anything to fit in. When he sees me..he will usually reference a line from the 3 Stooges {a passion we both share} or he will repeat a line from my vending movie that Abe Kandell said Everybody dat works in da ballpark is a schmuck While this might be true...it gets a little old when youve heard it for the 7th time that week! But as someone who has had a hip replaced, I worry about this guy. As you can see here, he is overweight. His proportions are off..because his arms and legs are relatively thin, and those legs have to support that stomach Point is that his joints are being grinded up at a much faster pace than most vendors. Joe, a man in his {mid 40s??} is asking for trouble as the years wear on. Not only his joints, but heart, etc. Next to Joe .....meet Jim Jedlinski This is one very nice but unusual dude. He thinks nothing of taking a double load of Goose Island out right away at Wrigley Field...an item that doesnt sell early in the first place...and he is very slow as well. So one wonders how warm the beer is by the time he gets to that 2nd load? His call of Draft or light at US Cellular is repetitive with no change in vocal tone. He sounds kind of robotic...with a stiff walk to match. I have watched him vend and he rarely scopes out the crowd to see who might want to buy from him. He has tunnel vision ...just pretty much sees the people to his immediate left or right. But give him credit...he works hard, and never drops during a Sox grind. The last vendor standing up might be William Dennis? If it is William ...one of the nicest guys out at either park {in the second pic, Roth roams at Wrigley}
