A CHARGE TO KEEP I HAVE A GOD TO GLORIFY. Sabbath mean rest. God commands convocations to be held on His Sabbath. tomorrowsworld.org/node/277 The personal pronoun, “You”, is understood…you convoke…if the person next to you or others obeys God or not. You are held accountable…by His Majesty God the Father of His Majesty the Prince of the Covenant, Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Savior, Hope, and Deliverer. God gives us a charge from this ultimate and highest authority that ever can be, and God commands us not to do any work, employed or servile work, on His Sabbath. The charge or command from this ultimate and highest authority that ever can be, carries a death penalty if disobeyed. God is greater than the employer or my job and its demands, policies, or requirements. I can not tell God, that God, I can not repent now of this sin. I can not obey you because this job, this man or this woman requires me to break your commandments…and I am the bread winner. Please excuse me. I should say, God, help me to repent. Grant repentance…and help me do your will. When employment requires me to work on God’s Sabbath, I request an excuse or tell my employer that I have an appointment to be off. I state the reason I am requesting an excused or leave of absence is religious, that I am celebrating Saturday as God’s Sabbath. Then if the employer refuses, which so many of them have refused to allow me to be off to worship God, since many jobs work weekends, I take off anyway. Some employers allow three unexcused absences before dismissing me…for God’s sakes. Some employers, I have to come right out and tell them that I will be off for God’s Sabbath … because they are not going to excuse or allow me to be off for religious reasons. So, I have to take control and take matters into my own hands, instead of asking to be off, I tell them that I will be off… a few days, or a week, or weeks and months before being off. When applying for employment some employers targets Sabbath Keepers by asking if you the applicant would be willing to work Saturdays and weekends. They will even go so far as to say that you may or will be required to work Saturdays and weekends. They make this request part of determining whether you get the job and are hired or dismissed for religious reasons. All this is persecution in progress…which some don’t yet see as religious persecution. I have been there. Done that. And punished. Suffered the consequences. Like as Moses being expelled from Egypt with every dismissal. Yet, God has provided for me. Jehovah Jireh, which means "the Lord will provide," is one of many titles given to God in the Old Testament. God has always provided for me. Abraham, the father of the faithful, told his son Isaac, in faith, that God will provide a Lamb for the sacrifice when God tested him in his obedience. He who provided a ram in the bush for Abraham will continually provide of His saints when we are put to the test. His name is Jehovahjireh, God our provider. Genesis 22:14 And Abraham called the name of that place Jehovahjireh: as it is said to this day, In the mount of the Lord it shall be seen. Genesis 22:7-9 7 And Isaac spake unto Abraham his father, and said, My father: and he said, Here am I, my son. And he said, Behold the fire and the wood: but where is the lamb for a burnt offering? 8 And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together. God says prove me. Step out in faith. Ancient Israel did just that. They proved and tested God to see if He would back up his word and/or provide. In the provocation for forty years straight, at one given time, Israel proved and tested God, and saw his wonders and works. They saw and witnessed God’s beautiful faithfulness…to provide for those who step out in faith to obey Him. However, Israel themselves would not step out in faith. Malachi 3:10 … and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. Hebrews 3:7-9 King James Version (KJV) 7 Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, To day if ye will hear his voice, 8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: 9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
