A COMFORTABLE NIGHT I called in to the Puppy House this morning to see Spirit and the staff told me they had found her this morning snuggled up on her bed - she had bunched her lovely new blanket up and was sleeping soundly. Before I fed her I wiped her eyes and administered eye drops as she has a mild infection in both eyes. Whilst she was eating her buffet I tided up her bed and when she was finished with not a drop of milk, chicken broth or food left she proceeded to get back on her bed and bunch up her blanket and settle down again. I returned to see her again around 4.30pm - shed had her Malaseb bath and was looking lovely. I took some pure Coconut oil that I had bought for her from a friends Grandmother - never have I smelt or tasted anything so divine. A dessertspoon of coconut oil will be mixed in with Spirits food each morning, this will help heal her skin from the inside out . I weighed her this morning and her last recorded weight was 7.5kg and her weight today was 8.9kg. On Friday I could count all her ribs and today I couldnt see any, the change in her in 48 hours has been amazing. My mission before I head back to Sydney on 26th December is to get Spirits weight up to 10-12kg. I know I will see a fast improvement in her in the next few days and I hope to bring you a further update with photos soon.
