A COMMUNIQUÉ ISSUED BY THE PROGRESSIVE YOUTHS ROUNDTABLE - A FORUM OF THE LEADERS OF MAJOR YOUTH GROUPS AND YOUTH LEADERS WITHIN THE APC IN THEIR MEETING ON THE TEUSDAY, 25TH MARCH 2014 AT ABUJA THAT 1. All youth groups must work hard to mobilise effectively for the full participation of young people in the forth coming congresses from the wards to the state levels. 2. The party must include a slot for young people in each of the delegates to be elected at any any level during the forthcoming congresses. We demand 40% affirmative action. 3. Youths will hold national as well as zonal summits to ratify the position of the young people to be presented to the party. 4. The APC constitution be amended to include a full youth wing. The body went ahead to set up a 7man planning committee to draw a road map for the planned summits which will hold before the partys convention. The meeting rounded up to reconvene in one week to consult and include more youth stakeholders. Present at the meeting were : 1. Dr. Manzo Daniel Maigari- Matasan Arewa for progressive change. 2.
