A Chinese University study of over 250,000 people across 14 years found that those who eat diets higher in protein may be less likely to have a stroke. That’s especially true if the protein comes from eating fish. We already knew that eating fish was healthy for other reasons, but the researchers say if everyone ate just 20 grams of protein per day, particularly from fish, it could prevent up to 1.4 million deaths by stroke every year. Although personally, I wonder if what really prevents you from having a stroke is taking off from work to go fishing. That’s my theory, and I’m sticking to it. Speaking of fishing..I love to Bass fish. Two of my favorite spots are Lake Greeson in Southwestern Arkansas and the Arkansas River. If you fish, what do you like to fish for?
