A Christian missionary in Iraq just sent an email requesting prayer stating that ISIS has taken over their town today and is systematically going house to house identifying the Christians and then asking the children to denounce Jesus. So far not one child has and consequently every child has been killed, but not the parents. They have been forced to watch and then live in fear of ISIS. The UN has withdrawn leaving the missionaries on their own to face the evil of ISIS. The missionaries have decided to stay as a means of supporting the families, even if it means their own death. Here is the email: We lost the city of Queragosh (Qaragosh). It fell to ISIS and they are beheading children systematically. This is the city we have been smuggling food too. ISIS has pushed back Peshmerga (Kurdish forces) and is within 10 minutes of where our CRI team is working. Thousands more fled into the city of Erbil last night. The UN evacuated its staff in Erbil. Our team is unmoved and will stay. Prayer cover needed. Please pray sincerely for the deliverance of the people of northern Iraq from the terrible advancement of ISIS and its extreme Islamic goals for mass conversion or death for Christians across this region.
