A Christmas Prayer For A Mighty Faith In Times Of Conflict For A Mighty Faith In Times Of Conflict…Most Precious Lord Jesus, Gentle And Wonderful God, Truly Awesome And Ever-present Holy Spirit, Precious Lord Jesus, I love you. We are approaching Christmas. At this time of the year there are special church services, special church plays and dramas with children dressed up as Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the Magi. This Christmas, help me see past my world of inner conflicts and help me see the twinkle in the eye of little boys and girls. This Christmas, help me to have a mighty faith in you in spite of the inner conflicts in my life and in my world. This Christmas, when inner conflicts chew me up inside, draw me closer to you. This Christmas, when inner conflicts distract me from your love for me, help me focus upon how much love you have poured out upon my life. This Christmas, when inner conflicts pound me down into the ground, lift my spirit up so I can see you standing next to me. This Christmas, when inner conflicts assault me and the well of my faith has gone dry, help me find your living water gushing from within my heart and soul. This Christmas, when I am overcome with anguish, touch my heart and help me understand your ways. O Lord, you are the great God of All. Your majesty is without end. Your love is without any equal. Although I am not worthy in your sight, I bow down before you and rest in your love that cleanses me from all unrighteousness. All these things I humbly pray in the name of my most Blessed Lord Jesus Christ, my Mighty God, and my Ever-present Holy Spirit upon whom I can rely. Amen
