A Christmas Wish & Holiday Note: In this Season of Love, Lights, Food and Reminiscence - I pray that those who are close find the Heart of Joyfulness to share with others ... Whether your Spiritual Faith takes you in a Direction of Christian, Jewish or Muslim please pause and capture the emotion of Grace & Peace with Good Will towards All. Our time spent together is short and there will come an age in each of our lives that a memory will serve as your only reference to this generation of experiences. Some will only know a short span of loneliness and yet others have been given a Gift & Burden to bear the torch of glowing hours from faded images of a past Christmas Tree scent that fills the house. A week’s worth of noise, laundry and gallons of Milk and Coffee to fuel the distant Relatives who crowd the couch, Or a day of frustration that concludes each night in a moment of touch, a Hug 30 years overdue… In all of those Moments in times gone by, gather each token you can find, there will come time in Holiday Celebrations soon that your presence of stance will be from the outside of the windows you once ornamented. Treasure each glisten, bouquet and sound, listen close for the laughter and the tears unspoken. Each of us bring a luggage of fear, a coat of armor and yet each time attended, we left in exhaustion packed from Gratitude. It will be that closet of weathered sleeves to darn in hushed moments of reflection and cry to comfort the future… So when Uncle Fred Laughs too loud, Charlottes’ Green Bean Casserole appears with prediction and evaporates in presentation or the children break too many ornaments, slam far too many doors – Be patient of those who arrive silent, speak fragile or refuse to understand the hour’s significance, They too are in attendance with fear or history. But all attend for Hope, Birth of Forgiveness, Family and the Grace of Peace! We all carry God’s Blessings and should we choose gaze, we honor the remembrance of all those before this Holiday of Celebration! Merry Christmas to all and your Blessings Full, Tree Bright, Scents Rich, Hearts Open and Bursting for Joy … L, Kris
