A Christmas message from Mark A. Clements whose only crime perhaps was being a gullible 16 year old Black teenager at the time his life was turned upside down. When White Supremacists dont acknowledge the reality of many Black Americans and only side with the police, it makes me want to lash OUT extremely ignorantly. Mark is a beautiful and innocent person who spent 28 years locked up and tortured for a crime he did not commit. The brutal and racist police commander who ordered his torture was eventually arrested and did time. But nothing compared to what Mark suffered. Reading this story brings me to tears and is a personal reminder to ME and many others of what we are always fighting for.
