A Cold front moving thru the state tonight will bring the rain to an end. Slightly cooler will move in on Thursday and Friday, and that will be followed by a warming trend starting Saturday and lasting through next week. By the end of next week, high temperatures in the Atlanta area could be in the mid 80s, and even higher temperatures are likely across middle Georgia. Dry conditions are expected for the next seven days, so after the ground dries from the recent rain, there will plenty of time for lawn and flower and vegetable garden preparation and planting, before the next rains come along. Its time to dust off those green thumbs and get busy!
