A Community Prayer for the Brown Family was held tonight at the Vanceburg Christian Church. It was very sad and many tears were shed, but God was there in a special way. The family still needs your prayers as two of the children are still in the hospital. Makeya is in Cabel Huntington Hospital. She also had surgery today. The doctors are concerned that she may be paralyzed due to spine injuries. Max is in the hospital in Columbus. He had a lot of bruising in the chest area. This makes it really bad where they are in two different hospitals. The mom is staying with one and the dad is staying with the other one. We may be a small little town, but the community showed their love and support tonight. The church was full and they had to get out chairs. Many beautiful words were spoken about little sweet Quinton. Several prayers were prayed and Tom Cox, Pastor of the church read several beautiful passages from the Bible. I think losing a child or grandchild would be one of the hardest things to ever have to go through. Only God could give you the strength to get through something like this. The family still needs all your prayers. Thanks to everyone that has been praying.
