A Consumer Tip from Ole Jay..... I dont even remember ever - TopicsExpress

A Consumer Tip from Ole Jay..... I dont even remember ever hearing about a fish called TILAPIA when I was a kid. Does anybody out there remember growing up with Tilapia? Seems like they just showed up one day. Ive read several articles on Google about this, and even one that was defending the eating of tilapia except if it comes from China. Chinese marketing headers are so sneaky - on the top of the bags, it says farm raised, and on the bottom in small print it says from China. I recently saw a Food inspector on TV. He said he had lived overseas and he had seen the filthy conditions their foods are raised and processed in. Yep, he says its enough to make you throw up. Some foreign workers have to wear masks as they work in these places, because the working conditions are just nasty and filthy. Their fish are fed raw sewage and varieties of feces everyday. He said he has seen so much filth throughout their food growing and processing that he would never eat any of it. They raise this filth, put some food coloring and some flavorings on it, then they ship it to us to consume. Just recently Institute for Natural Healing had an article on how Chinese feed the fish they sell us. Yum! Pig, geese, and chicken shit - also growth hormones, expired human antibiotics, and so forth. China actually feeds their farmed fish feces from pigs and geese. Why? Simple… it’s cheaper than commercial fish food. And with the fish industry becoming so competitive they have to find ways to cut down on costs. Regardless of what it may be doing to the fish… and you! Sounds delicious - dont it? Note: They have no Food & Safety Inspectors. Also, off topic, did you know that Green Giant frozen vegetables are from China? Buy Arctic Gardens and Birdseye. And never buy the grocery store garlic unless it is clearly marked from USA or Canada, the other stuff is grown in people poop (even worse than chicken poop). China is the largest producer of garlic in the world - U.S. is next. Also, watch out for packages which state prepared for, packed by or imported by. I dont understand the lack of mandatory labeling, especially the produce. The country of origin should be clearly shown on the item in the store. While the Chinese export inferior and even toxic products, dangerous toys, and goods to be sold in North American markets, the media says nothing. BUY FROM OUR COUNTRY AND CANADA TOO. Simply look on the bottom of every product you buy, and if it says Made in China or PRC (and that now includes Hong Kong ) - RUN! Oh, and last week the Chinese were bloviating that our currency should no longer be the world standard currency. Thats the thanks we get for making their economy strong. If we the people of America would just take a moment to look at each and every food label, and if its from China, simply turn it upside down and toss it back on the shelves - this would really kick there unappreciated collective asses, and besides you really dont want anything that was fed chicken, pigs and geese shit. Do you?
