A DAY IN MY LIFE THUMBS UP! Dad attended his office Christmas party as many coworkers brought assorted plates of food and drink. Plus, condiments to embellish the cold cuts and rolls were readily available including mustard, ketchup, mayonnaise, and pickles. As dad was preparing a sandwich, he opened a bottle of Nalleys Kosher Dills eager to extract a large pickle adding some zest to his festive plate. But rather than removing a whole kosher dill, dad pulls out a thumb! Including its thumb nail, knuckle, and some bone fragment. One of his coworkers bellys up to the table waiting to load up and see’s dad holding the thumb. Furrowing his brow, dad says, “I believe in putting oneself into your work but this is ridiculous!” Needless to say pop lost his appetite.
