A Daily Womens Devotional: One Mouth~ May the God who gives endurance & encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus so that with 1 heart & 1 mouth you may glorify the God & Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6. We cant praise God & then turn around & tell lies about someone. We cant lift our hands to a praise chorus & then gossip about someone in the hall. We cant post a verse on social networking sites & in the next update say something derogatory about another person. It isnt consistent with the life a believer should be living & isnt evidence of having 1 heart & 1 mouth. If we fill our thoughts with Gods words then our mouths will promote unity. God is glorified when our mouths produce praise and not slander. Lord, help me not to talk unkindly about anyone & convict me when I do. Let me be quick to make things right. Let me be known as a woman whose tongue promotes a blessing & unity. In Jesus name, amen.
