A Democratic politician most recently commented that he supports the South seceding (I Democrat idea the first time around as well) because he was tired of the productive liberal blue states subsidizing the lifestyles and dependency of the conservative red states. It would seem to me, like they usually do, he got it backwards as more people are leaving blue states for the greener and more productive read states, especially liberals to our dismay. Those who espouse high taxation should remain where they are and suffer the consequences instead of spreading their misery to others.
