A Divine Appointment with AHA in Memphis “For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries” (1 Corinthians 16:9). Whenever we go forth in the battle, our constant prayer is for divine appointments and open effectual doors. As the saints showed up at the gates of hell in Memphis the Lord answered those prayers in an astounding way. First stop was Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood is one of two death camps remaining defiling Memphis with the shedding of innocent blood. The other death camp is called “Choices.” Though Planned Parenthood was open, no babies died that day. It is amazing what happens when the church shows up. God shows off. We still ministered to men who came to their parole officer, whose office was housed in the same building with Planned Parenthood. We shared the Gospel, exposed Planned Parenthood, and prayed for these men to get right with God through the merits of His Son, Jesus Christ. After a while, someone in our group suggested we go over to the other death camp, even though it was closed. They wanted to expose the hidden works of darkness to those passing by while their neighbors were being led to slaughter. Doubting nothing, we went. Little did we know a miracle was waiting for us. There was a woman named Hannah who drove in to the death camp three times and left three times. She is going through a divorce and is pregnant with her third child. Perhaps, to get back at the husband, she was contemplating doing the unthinkable to her precious child in the womb. She had enough of a working conscious, however, to be torn by the decision. When we arrived one brother was talking with her ministering God’s truth. She was clearly touched. A garbage truck pulled up behind her in the parking lot and she had to drive off. We asked her if she would pull around and come back to talk. Amazingly, she came back. I went on the property of the death camp to minister to her. The husband of the wife that owns the death camp came by on his bike and asked, “Are you with this group?” I answered, “I’m with this woman.” He left without interrupting this intervention to save the life of this baby. As stated before, her name is Hannah. I told of her namesake in the Bible and her plight of being barren. God’s Word ministered to her and it began to give her hope. I told her, “If this baby is a boy, you shall call his name Samuel.” She lit up and said, YES!” I gave her more Scriptures to comfort her and then prayed for her. She left a different woman. She went from being tormented and in despair to a new found hope and faith. Praise God for His mighty acts of intervention.
