A Dock Dynasty Mystery Yesterday evening I was surprised to discover that two tomato plants previously residing on my dock were missing. Departed. Vanished. Right in the middle of high season. Both plants and pots, finally producing multiple ripe luscious fruits, gone. No where to be seen. Using keen deductive reasoning I donned snorkel and mask and began systematically diving the immediate area hoping to discover the creepers had simply blown over - for who would steal tomatoes - pot and all? Like the plants themselves, with nary a sign on the lake bottom, my hopes of recovery vanished Before giving up for good, I decided to walk the nearby banks for any evidence of the once pristine Lycopersicons. Again, to no avail. Finally, crossing my neighbors dock, I noticed something amiss. And there, caught between boat and dock, were the two plants fully submerged upside down in the water! Carefully, I righted each pot, and one at a time floated/hauled them back to Dock Dynasty. There, fully imbued, drying in the sun and wind, I picked three ripe fruits and returned to the house to prepare dinner. Every days an adventure at Dock Dynasty.
