A Doctor asked me once years ago if I, "had an agenda?" It was a long time before I even realized what he was saying. What an idiot! Ive never sued anyone in my entire life. Ive only even defended myself in court twice (both times against Bob Wood and I won! :-) ) They tell me that medical professionals are paranoid regarding the potential that they might be litigated. Here is my thinking... Its like putting extra locks on your house. The truth is that if a crook wants in your house bad enough they can get in, no matter how many locks you have. So you might as well live your life without fear. As for medical professionals... If you cant keep the fear of litigation from effecting how well you practice medicine... then you should probably find a new profession.
