A Dunwoody resident recently reported that she lost her iPad mini - TopicsExpress

A Dunwoody resident recently reported that she lost her iPad mini in February 2014 at Hartsfield-Jackson as she was debarking a plane. She immediately reported this to Delta as well as Apple. EcoATM, which is a smart device recycling kiosk found in most malls and airports around the country, recently contacted our victim and reported they had her device. ecoATM said that someone sold the device for cash in San Diego CA. We assisted the victim with all the necessary documentation for her to get her iPad mini returned. Our victim is going to get iPad back because she, properly registered her device with Apple and reported it lost/stolen with them, Delta and her hometown police department. As for the person who turn sold the device in San Diego, thanks to ecoATM and their procedures (photograph, fingerprint & ID scan) well be checking with our friends with the San Diego Police Department in order to pursue charges. Good lesson for us all...take the time to register and or record serial numbers on all things valuable. FE
