SU Spending & Student Engagement Reform -Accountability I pledge to work tirelessly in advocating student issues to the municipal, provincial, and federal governments as the next Vice President External. And I want you to understand how driven and passionate I am about these issues... I was lucky enough to grow up on a family cattle ranch. Ive been lobbying government since the BSE crisis of 2001 - thats 13 years of advocacy! For me, manure has long been a fact of life. But Im used to that being a result of the cattle - not our administration. Indeed, inordinate volumes of hot air is sometimes an unfortunate fact of politics - even at the student level. But when it comes to education, Im tired of both elitism and partisanship - And thats not how I intend to operate. Instead, I have clear and realistic goals, a strong work ethic, the necessary experience, and most of all an insatiable passion accomplishing #RealAction and #RealAdvocacy for my fellow students. Together, help me reclaim a system that although always ours, has for far too long been left in neglect. Administration needs to once again respect students voice.
