A FEW TIPS & REMINDERS.... SERVING SIZES- Please be mindful of how much you are eating. Especially if, in lieu of meat you are adding in more pasta and starchy carbs. PROCESSED VEGETARIAN ITEMS: Again be mindful. Check the ingredients. If there are a bunch of words you cant pronounce, you may want to consider an alternative. FRIED VEGGIE/PESCA- You already know. Fried foods, even vegetarian ones, can be a detriment to your dietary goals. FATS- Most veggie/pesca fats are the good fats. However, please keep them in moderation. Nuts, cheese, avocados, peanut/almond/cashew butter, salmon, olive oil and whole eggs are all examples of fats that we can partake during this challenge. They are also pretty good for you. However, moderation is still key. WATER: Drink lots of water and then more water. If you are partaking in this challenge, then its likely that you have greatly increased the amount of fiber you are now consuming. The water will help alleviate constipation. EXERCISE: For obvious reasons but also to help alleviate any side affects from increased fiber intake.
