A FLORIDA DAD GOT A COURT ORDER FOR THE CIRCUMCISION OF HIS 4-YEAR OLD SON, despite the mothers objections... Heather Hironimus appealed to a higher court and just received word of a new development in the appeal ... CASE UPDATE: Just got notice that the appeals court doesnt want to hear oral argument on the case....so now according to what I received the case will be submitted to a conference by a panel of the court. ~Heather Hironimus, 1 hour ago, 9-29-14. The meaning of this development is not yet clear, but it may be positive for her appeal because it was the father who requested oral arguments in the Appeals Court. Although there was a successful gofundme page for her legal expenses, those donations have been used up by months of legal expenses in two jurisdictions, and the latest invoice leaves Heather and her family owing the attorney over $15,000. The aggrieved father has forced Heather to close down the fundraising page by legal threats, and he has filed a number of frivolous motions in the lower court that originally ruled in his favor. Heather has to appear before a hostile lower court next week, a separate court appearance from the appeals court process, but directly involved with the circumcision legal issues brought about by the fathers obsession.
