A FLYING CAR LIKE MOONLIGHT TALE During the childhood days, - TopicsExpress

A FLYING CAR LIKE MOONLIGHT TALE During the childhood days, whenever there was hold up on the long stretch road to our village, we wished one thing, ability to manufacture a car that can fly above other cars to save time on the journey. Usually accidents on the road, especially vehicles that plunged from the then narrow bridge into our stream take some time to be removed. It used to be hectic for travellers on that road any day a crane were working to tow away vehicles from the road; it could take a couple of hours. One day, we met some vehicles that passed us at the entrance gate of our school as we closed for the day, after covering two miles on foot to the village because they were stuck on a hold up. It was one of such days that the dream of a car with ability to fly across obstacles was born. Though, this feat was not achieved by us because of our own limitation, yet it is glorious to know that somebody somewhere with the ability had similar dream and vision and is working hard to realize this dream in our dispensation. We are seeing it real and not fiction or an unrealistic imagination. Mr. Mitch La Biche, an aerospace engineer based in Houston, is building the car with a team of colleagues. Scale models and replicas have been tested and even hooked to SUVs to ascertain the aerodynamics. LaBiche and his tem have pieces of a full-size model, but they’re trying to raise the money to complete it. The odds are long, at the pace they are going, to get the money, but they have drawn a lot of attention for what seems to be a feasible product. Whatever you think of this particular project or its prospects, the flying car has been a long-sought transportation alternative. Like any new technology, it’ll start off pricey as a plaything of the rich but eventually will become more affordable. For short-distance travelers, it could be an enormous purchase or rental opportunity. Just like the proposed high-speed train, the car could make Houston-to-Dallas in about 90 minutes, allowing for some street travel time. The car is known as override according the engineer and has dual capabilities of a normal car and an airplane. It shows that God is still endowing men with invention capabilities and that humanity is still willing to surmount obstacles confronting the generation to make life a lot easier by exploiting these abilities given a conducive atmosphere to thrive.
