A Fathers Cry....Poem... This is a poem I wrote after hearing someones testimony... about his son and how it was hard to raise his son, and also how his son was born sick...but God healed his son and later in life when he had no hope, it was this healing that also led him to God.. Poem... A Fathers Cry- Life in this world is critical-babies scream at thee umbilical- Should I give up hope- Or do what it takes to bring dinner home- Moving and shaking, im in control- Until the bars of that prison closed- Now im faced with the same son, same screams except the kids alone- Strength is gone, what a fine time to convict a soul- I can only pray that dinners on- And when this infants old, he begins to notice his dad only wanted to give him more- You did ya chores to be a better man- Sweat in hand you persist for more, and I would give you extra candy- Maybe if I respect the Lord and resist this man in me- I can live for sure, and God will give me some extra sanity- Im humbled Lord- Plant a knee it touch the floor- I can achieve God has placed a hedge over my family- His plan for me is to stand up free- Planted trees-I shall believe as branches leaf- with a joy of His majesty- My hands are free- Fill them Lord command the lead- I ran from thee- But know im home- Put the land at peace- This is for all of the Fathers in prison, with broken hearts, and with only memories to cling too... I pray that God leads me into the prisons to speak a word of hope to those that are caged, so that together we may praise the God that can open doors...
