A Few weeks ago, first team Assistant John Fenwick put pen to paper to give his views on his first few months with us. "It has now been three and a half months since I agreed to take up Lee on his offer to become his Assistant Manager & 1st Team Coach on the 1st June. It has been as I am sure you are aware a very busy time signing players , endless calls and tireless conversations along with team bonding ,good training sessions and a very successful pre season against good quality opposition . This as you can see has been very worthwhile and extremely pleasing as our current league position shows the fruits of our labour. Long may it continue ! As well as being involved with the first team , I made it my objective when I came , to not be distant and have an interest in all that goes on at the club. I have been very impressed by the tireless amount of work that goes into match day preparation both on and off the field , and this like all clubs I have been at is invaluable and never to be taken for granted. Something that all the players certainly of the first team are made constantly aware of . For this I thank you all personally . Whilst juggling my work/family /football life balance I have found time to watch our other teams. I have been able to watch the ECPL 2nds team play twice in the league at St Dominick away & Bere Alston at home,and it is good to see the strength that is there and the results that are now starting to come . I also went along to Parkway last Sunday to watch our ladies against a very strong Marine Acadamy. I was very impressed again with the quality and style in which they tried to adopt and in the end managed to get a very deserved draw from the game. Adam has a good squad there. I have also kept in touch with Brad Agar in the Duchy league and will when and where is possible watch his team too. All in all it has been a good few months and I look forward to a successful season for all." Regards John Fenwick
