A Friend of mine posted this... : Deb Lindstrom: HEY DEMS!! Weve got WORK to do!!! According to the latest data from RealClearPolitics, the Battle for the Congressional House shows that: 1) There are 121 safe Dem seats. 2) There are 46 Dem seats for states leaning Democrat 3) There are 163 safe Repub seats. 4) There are 61 seats for states leaning Republican 3) There are now 44 Toss Up states. In order to take the majority in the House, a Party needs a total of 218 seats. That means that IF the Dems can keep the states that are now leaning left (46 of those) along with the safe Dem seats, then Dems will need to take ALL of the 44 Toss Up states AND will need to take, at minimum, 7 seats that are now Republican, or lean Republican. WE HAVE GOT TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN! If you live in a Toss Up state or a Republican leaning state, it is imperative to get Dems out to vote in a higher majority than Republicans will. Can we do it? We HAVE to, unless you want to see the Republicans hand over the keys to the country to the likes of the Koch brothers and Sheldon Adelson. Please, as you interact with Republican-leaning voters, try to show them just how they are voting against their own best interests in the kindest way you can. Getting into battles with Republicans wont help to convince them that what they believe is going to harm them in the long run. Try if at all possible to show them respect, while endeavoring to bring some light into their belief system. Its tough work, but it can be done as I have been able to make a few small differences. If we all do this, perhaps there is hope for us as a nation. If not, we will be living in the new Oligarchy of the United States, under the thumbs of the Koch brothers and their ilk. Thanks for anything you can do to help ALL of us; both left and right leaning folks.
