A GODLY ROUTINE There is a time for everything, and everything on earth has its special season. (Ecclesiastes 3:1 NCV) You know God is certainly in the routines of life. If He wasn’t then the sun wouldn’t rise every morning, the air we breathe wouldn’t be present on some days, and nature’s seasons would only be winter. But God put times and seasons in place so that we could know and understand His ways! Simply put God is faithful and consistent. He is faithful to keep your heart beating another day all the while keeping the earth in orbit. We don’t need to chase after experiences or great movements of God although we should enjoy them. Those things are for specific times and seasons to gain our attention so that He can speak to us and be honored. But if you will purposefully look for it, you will find God’s loving hand at work in the midst of your everyday life. The busyness and distractions of everyday life can cause us to miss God’s glory and wonder! But by withdrawing and spending time with Him – by quietly listening, He will show you His glory and fill you with wonder! Enjoy your day!
