A GOOD ATTITUDE (secret of d mighty) -------------------------------- Train ur child in d way he should go & he will not depart 4m it in his old age. This was a biblical injunction, spoken by d sage king Solomon in his wisdom & thru inspiration of d Holy Spirit. He said ds bc training up a child in d way of God is every parents responsibility. If u spare d rod u will spoil d child. God as a loving father will always chastise, prune & discipline his children just to keep dm on d track. But today children are largely d product of societal influence, social media & peer groups. Not many of dm receives proper home training. God will help us. D story today is to inspire parents & guidance on d need to train our children for a better future. A good looking lady & young graduate of law school went shopping on one cool saturday evening. As she was going out of d complex, by d entrance, she stepped on d toe of a woman who was coming in to shop as well & left her badly injured. Not bn remorseful she walked away without saying a word (even to say sorry). People who were @ d scene condemned her attitude & attributed it to bad upbringing. In a fourth night d young ladys name was short-listed 4 an interview in d federal ministry of justice. She arrived @ d venue quit on time & quickly mixed up with her colleagues to rehearse d possible interview questions. When it was her turn, she went in to face d panel. And behold d head of d panel was d same woman she injured @ d supermarket (a High Court Judge). Imagine her shock. As soon as d woman recognized her, she excused herself just not to be bias. After few minutes of what seems to be like a disgraceful scene, d young lady came out in tears. What happened? Just b4 d commencement of d interview, a serious argument broke out btw her & d clerk of d institution over a document she claimed to had submitted but was later discovered in her hand bag. Ds case was reported to d panel. So d fear of her offense coupled with d fact dt she forget to greet d panel members, plus d issue she hard wt d head of d panel summed up to play against her. They dismissed her with d follow words; U are bad mannered & can fight ur senior colleagues. And ds was how her bad attitude cause her d chance to contest 4 d employment. My dear friend in Christ ds article is coming @ time when our society needs moral reformation. When a lot of young people feels they have arrived & therefore treat their elders without regards. But we must learn to trade with caution when attending to anybody dt appear b4 us bc they may be d helpers God is bring ur way. Dont be disrespectful to ur senior bc dt is d only way u can attend their status. D Lord resists d proud but d humble of heart He regard. Respect ur elders & ur days will be long.
