A GREAT GRENADA STORY I just finished the last page on this amazing book. There is so much to admire in this deeply personal and moving story. Johnson is a peoples hero. A barefoot kid from Grenadas countryside, without a real home to call his own, whose idol is his grandmother and whose dream is to drive. That dream takes him from simple village life to driving armored vehicles in Iraq. What a leap! In the process, his almost miraculous bravery saves dozens of his fellow British soldiers, and he ends up having Queen Elizabeth pin a Victoria Cross for gallantry on his chest. If someone had to write this as fiction, no one would believe it. But this is not fiction! It is an amazing true story that teaches the value of a dream backed by human courage. A Great Grenada Story!
