A GREATER JOY Thought for the Day: Sometimes we need to be broken down so we can be built back up again. It is during the times we feel we are being broken down that we need to trust that God will rebuild us into something more glorious than we could have ever imagined. Todays Word: For when we came into Macedonia, we had no rest, but we were harassed at every turn-conflicts on the outside, fears within. But God, who comforts the downcast, comforted us by the coming of Titus, and not only by his coming but also by the comfort you had given him. He told us about your longing for me, your deep sorrow, your ardent concern for me, so that my joy was greater than ever. (2 Corinthians 7:5-7 NIV) Todays Prayer: Father, Thank You for not leaving me broken after I have been broken down. While I may not be completely restored, I live my day looking forward to the joy and abundance You have planned for my future. Amen
