A Golden Destiny Who is the Holy Spirit? The Holy Spirit is essentially the third person of the God-head. 1 John 5:7 “For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the word, and the Holy Ghost: and those three are one.” No destiny will be able to blossom without the Holy Spirit. Jesus told his disciples to go and wait to receive the Holy Ghost. He told them not to go anywhere until they have received the Holy Ghost (Luke 24:49). Why did Jesus tell them not to go anywhere until they have received the Holy Spirit? Because he knows that a Journey without the Holy Ghost is not safe. 1 Samuel 2:9 “… for by strength shall no man prevail.” Zechariah 4:6 “..not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, saith the Lord of host.” Every golden destiny is at the mercy of the Holy Ghost for realization. No matter how bright your future is, no matter how clear your purpose is, you will never get anywhere without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit. We need to have a daily and constant encounter with the Holy Spirit. It is a mystery.
