A Good, Good Monday morning my friends! Its Weather Time!!! I think I said back on Thursday that there would be a lot of interesting stuff going on in the world of weather this upcoming week and that certainly looks to hold true. We had a 50/50 weekend, an ugly Saturday with clouds, rain and snow but yesterday made up for it tenfold, it was beautiful! And now we prepare for a significant mid-atlantic snowstorm.. hurray! Seriously, a lot of people have written this winter off due to the relative inactivity (especially compared to this time last year).. but if you go back to my winter forecast I issued in November, I said the end of January and through February would likely be the coldest and snowiest period.. that looks to hold serve, at least by looking at the over all pattern. I think winter redeems itself and in a big way. I also think winter weather will spread into early spring! Lets tackle the task at hand which is first and foremost on our minds. Gotta get the bread and milk, working in the grocery industry I not only get to forecast the weather, but also see the affect my forecasts have on the community as thousands rush to the stores to stock up. That was most definitely the case yesterday and I prognosticate a very similar outcome today. I will break down model analysis, my thoughts and issue an official forecast throughout this morning. Time for me to get to the number crunching... stay tuned South Jersey :)
