A Good Wife ECCLESIASTES 7:27-28 = Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, [counting] one by one, to find out the account: 28 Which yet my soul seeketh, but I find not: one man among a thousand have I found; but a woman among all those have I not found. PROVERBS 31:10 = Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price [is] far above rubies. PROVERBS 31:11 = The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. PROVERBS 31:12 = She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life. PROVERBS 31:23 = Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land. PROVERBS 18:22 = Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD. PROVERBS 31:27 = She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. PROVERBS 31:15 = She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, PROVERBS 31:19 = She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff. PROVERBS 31:13 = She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands. PROVERBS 31:26 = She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue [is] the law of kindness. PROVERBS 31:18 = She perceiveth that her merchandise [is] good: her candle goeth not out by night. PROVERBS 19:14 = House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the LORD. PROVERBS 31:31 = Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. PROVERBS 31:28 = Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband [also], and he praiseth her. PROVERBS 31:30 = Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised. I CORINTHIANS 7:33 = But he that is married careth for the things that are of the world, how he may please his wife. I CORINTHIANS 7:3 = Let the husband render unto the wife due benevolence: Good will, kindness I PETER 3:7 = Likewise, ye husbands, dwell with them giving honour unto the wife, as unto the weaker vessel. Honour = honour which belongs or is shown to one: COLOSSIANS 3:19 = Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Angry, indignant; to be irritated EPHESIANS 5:25-32 = Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, I TIMOTHY 5:8 = But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, I CORINTHIANS 7:27 = Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. PROVERBS 5:18 = Let thy fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of thy youth. ECCLESIASTES 9:9 = Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest for it is thy portion in this life, PROVERBS 31:25 = Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.
