A Grade Rennie 39 defeated Tungamah 36 A toughly contested game with both sides acutely aware that the result could be the difference between playing finals or wrapping up the season next week. Rennie wanted it more in the first half managing to break out to a 7 goal lead at half time. Injecting Sharnie Wallden into the attack end in the third quarter provided dynamic drives and precision feeding to our shooters. At the other end Molly Saunders played a blinder halting the shooters dominance and single handedly took charge of the fight back for the bears. We went into the final quarter 2 goals down but unfortunately couldnt get ourselves over the line. The slow start hurt us but we demonstrated to everyone what we can do when we switch on. Our last chance to play finals will be determined this week when we play shep east. The more supporters we can rally to get us over the line the better so come and support your talented A grade girls into the finals series its sure to be a nail biting encounter.
