A Great Project Delivered by a Great Team!!! Monday: Two teams from halfway around the world (from Sainsburys and Wood Mackenzie) graced our shores last week to deliver a high social impact project!!! Tuesday: 60 students from Mbabe Junior School were treated to a very rare environmental education and other activities on the beach! Wednesday: A computer lab at Uyengo High School was renovated and 24 brand new computers were donated to help provide basic computer literacy to students and some members of the community! Thursday: Over 160 Indigenous trees were planted at Mbabe Junior School to help provide shade for the little ones and restore its natural habitat! Part of the experiences included visiting homesteads, preparing traditional cuisine and a sip of traditional beer - UMQOMBOTHI and many more!!! A very Big Thank You to everyone who got involved through donations and also to The Leadership Company team Duncan Burman, Hazel Powling and Andy Lindley for organizing all logistics to get the teams here and back! The project was a great success and the experience will remain for years to come!!!
