A Great Sustaining Psalm 54:4 - God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my life. The word sustain or sustainer are not regular staples of my vocabulary. And, yet, understanding that years are made of months and months are made of days and days are made of moments, I can grasp that sustaining takes place one moment at a time. We are incapable of sustaining anything of value – we cannot make ourselves breathe or think or accomplish anything. As you walk with the Lord, consider Him worthy of worship as the sustainer of your life. Without that, all else would be meaningless! Praise you, Oh Lord; thank you for sustaining me through good times and bad! You are worthy of praise!!
