A HARSH REALITY....................... I just read that if something is not done that there will be something like 10,000 Ebola victims in Africa every week soon. The World Health Organization and others are asking for billions, perhaps a trillion dollars to combat this disease. What I fail to grasp is how throwing money at this in Africa is going to stop it? In the best of circumstances, with the very best of care the survivors brought here are costing half a million dollars each. At this price tag, even assuming this level of care was available in Africa, how do you stop it? There is no cure. Either you make it or you dont it seems. And there is no way that the world is going to spend half a million dollars on Africans or common people in America once its loose here. Not anywhere. There has to be a cure or its over long term. The plague is upon us once again. The earth is self correcting. Thats the harsh reality of it all.
