A HOUSE FOR MERCY Mercy is a beautiful thing. It cant be earned and it isnt deserved. The person giving mercy or having mercy on someone isnt obligated to extend it to that person. Sometimes people need mercy because they have done something wrong and are sorry for it. Sometimes though people need mercy because life can be terribly cruel. In order to give mercy one has to have it residing in their heart. It has to have a house or a home to dwell in, in order to be given away. Mercy is given from the heart. If mercy isnt living in ones heart, mercy cant be given. When mercy is extended to someone, the outcome of that persons life is transformed in a certain way that simply would not have happened otherwise. A friend of mine while visiting Uganda for a few months found a puppy abandoned on the side of the road. It was very sick and emaciated. It was dying. Most people would have left it there to die. He picked it up and took it home and for the first few days held it close almost hoping to give it life. He nursed it back to health even though at first it looked hopeless and it amazingly lived. He took care of it the whole time he was there. He decided to call it Mercy. It was literally alive because he extended mercy to it. The outcome of that life changed because of it. Well my friend had to leave Uganda to return home so he arranged for Mercy to go and live out at Oasis Orphans Care Ministry in kamuli village. Mercy is going to be their mascot in a few days. Seems almost fitting. I was chatting with Mukulu the director this morning and he was telling me how he wanted to build a house for Mercy. A nice house! I was thinking like, Dude with all the needs and the shortage of funds and supplies lately, and you are thinking and all concerned about a house for Mercy !!!??? Then I suddenly stopped and my eyes glued onto the words, build a house for Mercy like only God can do when He has orchestrated something prophetic to express what He is saying, I want to build a house for Mercy in the hearts of people, to extend to many the mercy needed to transform, to change the outcome of others lives. Is there room for Mercy in your house? paul-rapoza.blogspot/p/blog-page_14.html
