A HUGE HALLELUJAH! A HUGE NEED FOR SUSTAINED PRAYERS TO CHRIST THE KING! #iBelieve! #iPray #JesusITrustInYou #iAmPrayingForRebecca #PrayingForRebecca #Praying4Rebecca #RebeccaStrong SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 22, 2014 @ 10:00AM - By Carol Nelson To the Army of God praying for Rebecca...... Here is the latest on our little girl....A HUGE HALLELUJAH in that her pain has dramatically lessened since this most recent surgery!!!!! Rebecca is certainly feeling better! Thank You dear Father....Christyn has 3 specific prayer requests: 1) They are starting Rebecca on a serious chemotherapy drug today in an attempt to begin reducing her VERY HIGH platelet count....again, a high platelet count predisposes Rebecca to forming blood clots....the specific request is that the drug is effective in dramatically dropping her platelet count. 2) Rebecca has a feeding tube that goes from the outside of her abdomen into her small intestine to deliver her nutritional feedings....(it is no longer taped to the side of her face going through her nose---this is for more long-term use and frees her little nose and face from the inconvenience of a tube)....unfortunately, this feeding tube has stopped working...the specific request is to pray that they can get it UNCLOGGED today--otherwise, another procedure will be necessary to replace the current nonfunctioning tube. 3) Rebeccas wound care is very involved and difficult. Her wound care is done twice a day....this is a VERY GRAPHIC SIGHT for anyone to see, much less a young girl....this is also a very painful experience. Christyn reports that they are working on a drug regimen that would be given BEFORE the wound care that maximizes pain relief AND ALSO MIGHT HELP Rebecca not remember the event. The GOAL is to make this the LEAST TRAUMATIC as possible for Rebecca in every way...physically and emotionally. The specific prayer request is that they can effectively de-traumatize the wound care for Rebecca. (Her wound is wrapped and she cannot see it, except when they unwrap it to repack the wound---it is part of the process---pack it with fresh packing/meds and then unpack later, to repack with fresh supplies again). Dear Father.....we approach You again on behalf of Rebecca....You know her needs....You know all about her....we humbly ask You to do what is best....and we thank You and know that You are Trustworthy....shield Rebecca.....provide comfort to her spirit....hear our prayers, dear Lord..... In the Mighty Name of Jesus we offer our prayers.... Hope and healing to all who are in Christ Jesus.... caringbridge.org/visit/rebeccataylor1/journal/view/id/5470b118a589b48c68a0eea4
