A HUGE crowd for our final show of our 44th season in Bremerton. Although gray, we had a great time (and played LOUD LOL) for what looked like several thousand people at this great FREE event. We have played it now for over 30 years at the same beautiful location next to the Bremerton Navy Yard complex, right on the water. Our friends at Gordon Sound did their usual great job making the sound wonderful for all the fans and dancers. Our usual collection of tiny ones, and old folks. (Even older than us), all dancing and having a great time. What a weekend, and I am again reminded how fortunate we truly are, and the loyalty of so many fans that made the incredibly beautiful ferry boat trip across the water from Seattle. Truly amazing. Anyway, next summer does seem like such a long time away, til we are again together. (Provided that we are all alive. LOL.) We plan to be, and we thank you most sincerely for your kindness and support this summer, and over the past 44 years. We do it for you. As Lalo often says, WE ALWAYS HAVE BEEN, AND ALWAYS WILL BE, A DANCE BAND. NO APOLOGIES. Young artists, rappers and musicians take note: NEVER give up your dreams. As I have posted, NOW it is YOUR TURN. We hope what is in front of you will be even greater than you can imagine. You can make a difference.
